Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

Players take on the role of an elite soldier involved in military missions to thwart a malicious villain in this action game. Players utilise handguns, machine guns, and rocket launchers to kill opposing soldiers as they sneak into enemy bases and strongholds. The story follows mercenary leader Punished “Venom” Snake as he travels into Soviet-occupied Afghanistan and the Angola-Zaire border region to exact revenge on those who destroyed his forces and nearly killed him during the climax of Ground Zeroes. The story is set in 1984, nine years after the events of Ground Zeroes.
